How To Prepare For When A Portable Restroom Rental Is Being Delivered

Posted on

There is not all that much that you need to do after booking a portable restroom rental. The rental company is responsible for setting the portable toilet up and pumping it at the interval specified in your contract. However, while there is not too much that you have to do, there are a few key things that can help you prepare for the delivery. Here are the steps you should take to prepare for when a portable restroom rental is being delivered.

Make Sure a Truck Can Access the Area Where the Portable Restrooms Will Be Delivered

One of the first things you want to do prior to a portable restroom being delivered is ensure that a truck can access the area where you want the portable restrooms placed. In some cases, you may need to open up gates to ensure the area is accessible. In other cases, you may need to lay pieces of plywood down to prevent a truck from getting stuck in the mud. Always make sure the area is ready to go and that a large truck can maneuver through the area.

Flatten the Area Where You Want the Portable Potties Placed

Another thing that you will need to do prior to your portable restrooms being delivered is to flatten the area where you want the toilets placed. A portable toilet cannot be placed on an uneven surface, as it will tilt or lean. If needed, pour sand and then rake the sand to fill in small holes or crevices, helping to level the area prior to your toilets being delivered.

Stock Up on Supplies

The last thing that you will need to do prior to your toilets being delivered is to stock up on supplies that you will need for the toilets, such as toilet paper, air fresheners, and hand sanitizer. Most companies will supply a couple of rolls of toilet paper in each rental, but you will be responsible for refilling the supplies during your event. Make sure you have enough supplies on hand. When it comes to things like toilet paper, it is better to have too much than to run out.

If you are hosting an event or doing construction and there are not bathrooms that can easily be accessed, you may be thinking about renting a portable restroom. Contact a portable restroom company today to set up delivery of portable toilets or to obtain an estimate.
